In their words

What homeowners say after the crews leave

The reviews that matter are the ones written a season later, once the yard has been through a Nevada summer.

Ask us for referencesWe would rather put you in touch with homeowners whose backyards we built than show you a star rating. Ask on your first visit and we will connect you with clients whose projects are similar to yours.

Why we care what you say a season later

Any backyard looks good the week the crew leaves. The review that counts is the one written after the yard has been through a Nevada summer: whether the turf stayed flat, whether the planting held, whether the pool equipment kept up, and whether we answered the phone when something needed attention.

Because we maintain what we build, we are still around for that second summer. That is the part of the job we want you to judge us on.

How to check a contractor in Nevada before you sign

A star rating is the easiest thing on a contractor’s website to fake and the last thing worth trusting on its own. Four checks take about twenty minutes and are worth more than any badge, including ours.

  • Look the licence up yourself. The Nevada State Contractors Board publishes licence status, classification and monetary limit. A licence in the wrong classification or with a limit below your project is a real problem, and it is public information.
  • Read the one and two star reviews first, and read the responses. What you are looking for is not whether anything went wrong, because on a build something always does. You are looking at how it was handled once it was inconvenient.
  • Ask for two references whose work is at least two summers old. Anybody can produce a happy client from last month. The heat here finds shortcuts on a delay.
  • Ask who is actually on site. On outdoor projects the gap between the company you hire and the crew that shows up is where most of the disappointment lives.

What we will show you

We will give you references in the area you are building in, and we will tell you which jobs did not go smoothly and why. A company that claims none of its projects ever hit a problem is telling you either that it has not built much or that it is not going to be straight with you when yours does.
