Pool design and 3D visualisation
Shape, placement and depth worked out against the house, the sightlines from the rooms you use, the sun, and the way your family will actually swim. You see it in three dimensions before anything is committed.
Pools
A pool is the most expensive thing most people will ever put in a backyard. It should be designed with the backyard, not before it.
Pools in the Las Vegas valleyEvery backyard we build starts with the same question, and it is not what shape the pool should be. It is where you will be standing when you look at it.
A pool that was designed answers that. It sits where the sightline from the kitchen and the living room wants it, at a depth and a shape that matches how the household will actually use the water, with the equipment and the deck transitions planned before the first cut. A pool that was installed sits in the middle of the lot because that is where a pool goes.
This is the part most Las Vegas homeowners learn the expensive way. The pool contractor finishes and leaves. The landscaper arrives to a yard with a pool in it, equipment in an awkward corner, deck elevations already set and irrigation lines to route around what is now permanent.
We design both at once because we build both. The deck transition, the equipment screening, the shade over the lounging area and the planting that frames the water are decided together, on paper, before the excavator arrives.
We walk the property and talk about budget honestly on the first visit. Design and three dimensional visualisation come next, with revisions, so you are approving something you can actually see. Then engineering and permitting, which is the part of the calendar nobody controls. Then construction, in a sequence we give you in writing with the inspection gates marked.
Southern Nevada has a great many pools built fifteen and twenty five years ago that are structurally sound and cosmetically finished. Resurfacing, new tile and coping, modern equipment and better circulation will make most of them feel new for a fraction of a replacement.
If that is your situation we would rather tell you so. It is a smaller job, it is the right one, and it is how we end up building the next one for you.
What this covers
Shape, placement and depth worked out against the house, the sightlines from the rooms you use, the sun, and the way your family will actually swim. You see it in three dimensions before anything is committed.
Where the pool sits decides more than how it looks. We work out the shape against the house, the grade and the sun, and against the sightlines from the windows you actually look out of, because a pool you only see from the side gate is a pool you use less. Geometric, freeform or a clean rectangle is a decision that comes after that, not before it.
Excavation through steel, plumbing, gunite, tile, coping, decking, equipment and final finish, with the same team accountable at every stage.
A rectangle is the hardest shape to build well and the least forgiving to look at, which is why it reads as expensive when it is done right and cheap when it is not. Freeform buys you tolerance on an awkward lot. Resort scale needs the yard to carry it, and on a standard Las Vegas lot it usually does not. We will tell you which of the three your property is actually asking for.
Depth is where most pools are got wrong. Too shallow and nobody swims, too deep and half the water is wasted on a volume you never use and still heat. We size the shallow end for standing and talking, the deep end for whatever you actually do in it, and put the steps and benches where people will sit rather than where they fit on a drawing.
Integrated spas and shallow lounging areas designed as part of the pool's shape rather than bolted onto the end of it.
Moving water, raised walls and the transitions where the pool meets the deck and the landscape. This is where a pool either looks designed or looks installed.
The waterline tile, the coping and the interior finish are the three surfaces you touch and the three that date fastest. Pebble holds up better than plaster in this water; a square-cut coping reads cleaner than bullnose and is harder to lay, so it shows the workmanship. We choose the palette with the deck and the house, not from a board in an office.
Pipe sized for the pump, the pump sized for the pool, and an equipment pad laid out so somebody can service it in ten years without cutting anything. Variable speed as standard, because in this valley the pump runs most of the year and the difference shows on the bill. Automation only where it saves you a walk, not because it looks good on a spec sheet.
Resurfacing, replastering, tile replacement and full remodels for pools that are structurally sound but a decade past their finish.
A vanishing edge is a hydraulic problem before it is a visual one: the catch basin, the surge capacity and the pump have to be sized for the wall, and the wall has to be sitting on ground that will not move. Worth doing where the lot has a view and a grade change to work with, and worth talking you out of where it does not.
Removable mesh fencing and the safety planning that belongs in the conversation before the pool is built, not after it is filled.

Pool Construction in Las VegasThe shallow water is where most people spend most of their pool time. Design accordingly.
Spas and Tanning Ledges in Las VegasMoving water is the one element that works on sound as well as sight, which matters more than people think next to a road.
Water Features in Las VegasMost dated pools in this valley have good structure and a bad surface, which is a remodel rather than a rebuild.
Pool Remodeling in Las VegasInterior finish is a consumable. In this water it is a faster consumable than the brochure suggests.
Pool Resurfacing in Las VegasClark County has barrier requirements and they are not optional. Most of the fences we replace were never compliant.
Pool Safety Fencing in Las VegasWe do not lend money and we do not take a cut from anyone who does. This page is what we tell people who ask.
Pool Financing in Las VegasCommon questions
The honest answer is that the range is wide and the drivers are few: size and depth, how much the shape deviates from a simple geometry, the finish level on tile and coping, the equipment and automation, and how much the site itself fights back. Access and grade are the two that surprise people. We walk the site, identify which of those apply to you, and give you a written number before design.
Excavation to water is the shortest part. Design, engineering, permitting and inspection scheduling are what set the calendar, and they vary by jurisdiction in this valley. We give you the sequence with the inspection gates marked, because those are the points where dates move.
They should be designed together and built in the right order, which is almost always the pool first and the landscape immediately behind it. Building the landscape first and then bringing heavy equipment through it is how people pay for the same yard twice.
Usually. Most pools that look finished are structurally fine and need surface, tile, coping and equipment rather than demolition. We tell you which category yours is in after looking at it, and that assessment does not cost you anything.
