Pool safety fencing in Las Vegas

Clark County has barrier requirements and they are not optional. Most of the fences we replace were never compliant.

Barrier requirements exist for a reason and they are specific: height, the gap under the bottom, the maximum opening a child can pass through, gate self-closing and self-latching, and latch height. A fence that misses any one of those is not a barrier, whatever it cost.

The common failures we find are a gate that no longer self-closes because the hinge tension went years ago, a latch mounted low enough for a child to reach, and a gap under the fence on sloped ground where the installer followed the slope with a straight panel.

Removable mesh versus permanent

Removable mesh is what most families with young children choose. It comes out when the children are older, it does not fight the view, and it is quick to install. The install quality is everything: poles set in properly drilled sleeves at the right spacing, mesh tensioned, and a self-closing gate that actually is one.

Permanent fencing, glass or metal, costs more and looks better and is a commitment.

This is the one page where we will be blunt

If your barrier does not currently self-close and self-latch, it is not doing its job, and that is worth fixing this week rather than at the next remodel.

What this covers

After the Build: Keeping It Running

Once a pool is built, it needs regular care to keep the water, surfaces and equipment in good shape. Our pool service covers weekly cleaning and equipment checks, with pool repair when something fails. The acid wash and leak detection services are there when they are needed.

Every part of the job, under one team

Removable mesh fencing

The usual choice for families with young children, installed with correct sleeve spacing and real tension.

Permanent barriers

Glass or metal fencing where the barrier is staying for good and the look matters.

Self-closing and self-latching gates

The component that fails most often and the one that matters most.

Code compliance review

Checking an existing barrier against the current Clark County requirements, which most inherited fences fail.

Alarms and secondary layers

Door and gate alarms as an addition to a barrier, never as a replacement for one.

Common questions

What homeowners ask us first

Is a pool fence required in Clark County?

Residential pools are subject to barrier requirements covering height, gaps, openings and gate hardware. We check what you have against the current code and tell you plainly where it fails.

Does a fence have to ruin the view?

Removable mesh in a dark color largely disappears at a few meters. Glass costs more and disappears entirely.
